The Sounds from Africa concert series is a live stream concert series with a pan-continental scope from the African continent”, notes CCA member Ignacio Priego Jimeno.

The series is produced by Cultural Connections Africa network member Brad Holmes (of Bassline Festival, SA) and Mushroom Productions (SA) in cooperation with other partners.

Hosted by Colours of Ostrava Festival in the Czech Republic, the fourth concert of the series premiered on 27 July 2020.

It showcased Lize Ehlers and Yugen Blakrok, two powerful female voices from Southern Africa.
